Service and operational personnel at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport starting Monday (02/18/2019) are equipped with tablet computers. Angkasa Pura II (AP II) as the airport manager calls this program a Digital Officer (with) Digital Device (DODD).
This breakthrough program is carried out to serve aircraft passengers better and faster. The digital devices are used by Terminal Services (customer services), Aviation Security (Avsec), and Safety, Risk & Quality Control personnel.
President Director of AP II, Muhammad Awaluddin said that the DODD program will support the field personnel to resolve any issues faster.
The DODD program will also increase the Millennial Airport Travel Experience (MATE) for airline passengers at the airport, which is one of the main programs of the corporation.
“About 60 percent of passengers at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are millennial. Therefore, we also have to implement appropriate service standards for millennial. Personnel who equipped with the tablet believe that they can bring Millennial Airport Travel Experience to the passengers of the aircraft, “Awaluddin explained.
The tablet used by these personnel are equipped with all work support applications, i-Perform, i-Mate App, Flight Management Module, and other applications needed for operational processes.
The DODD program is applied at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and all airports managed by AP II with a total of 200 units.
